Great intro course! Took me from knowing nothing to feeling like I could go out and construct my own database! Looking forward to learning more at higher levels.
I took the L1 and L2 courses at a company called New Horizons. This is significantly better. The New Horizons courses cost $590 each with no instruction. We were simply given books and expected to learn on our own. The instructor was very knowledgeable and good at teaching. I would definitely come back for more courses.
I strongly recommend this class and this instructor. I came in hesitant to learn and I am a computer dummy. I was able to link the teachings with the work currently being performed at work. I am coming back!

I can honestly say that prior to my access courses with Training Connection I knew absolutely nothing about designing a database. First off Rich had a great attitude and was an all-around cool guy. It made the course much more comfortable and a lot more fun. I was very impressed with his take on the whole two-day course. Rich is a great teacher! I actually just re-took level 2 after about four or five months. In between the first class and this retake, I taught a co-worker the basics and we just took this class together. We have so many ideas of how to use Access to make our work faster, easier and have a greater impact with data analysis. Being able to retake the classes is definitely an enormous benefit - this second time around really enforced everything, plus I learned a lot of new functions.
I felt the instructor and environment were perfect for learning a software package I was not familiar with. With the small class size and engaging style of the instructor, I was able to grasp the processes much more clearly than if I tried to learn on my own.
