Carol was great in teaching us about time management. Additionally, she encouraged engagement with each other, and to think outside the box. When we had questions that were outside the plan for the itinerary, she was able to address them appropriately, providing feedback that was well worth the cost of the class! Jeanette was about as good an instructor as you could ask for when it comes to time management. It's a breath of fresh air when an instructor brings in their own experience and methodology to a course as opposed to just following the training materials. A good instructor uses those materials as a base to build their course and expand in the most relevant areas. This course really helped me step back and take a look at myself and how I handle my day-to-day work. Now I'm just excited to get out there and use these new skills.

I am an operations manager for a Fortune 200 company. My daily tasks are seemingly endless. I felt that I was productive but I knew that I could be more effective. I found TC online and registered. I have learned some very useful methods to help prioritize tasks and actually be more effective. Jeannette kept on task while keeping the coure fun. I will be back for other classes. What a great source to have. A great little secret to success!!
First of all, the training facility is so clean and well organized. And of course, Ms. McKinley was so great. She explained literally almost everything I need to know in Captivate Advanced. For two days of training, it is all worth it. I will highly recommend Training Connection a great training facility.

For anyone looking to advance their knowledge in web development, Training Connection is the place to start. I wanted to supplement my web design knowledge with PHP/MySQL training. Chris, the instructor, took the class step-by-step through the process of a data-based driven website. There was no rushing material, overloading, or pressure of retention of data. I've had some programming in C++ and java and this course filled in the gaps.
I really appreciate the time and effort Chris put into making sure we walked away the maximum amount of knowledge possible. He also readily answered all our questions, even if they were from previous classes.

Because my colleague and I were the only two in class, Pat was able to resolve our questions to how we were going to apply the concepts in class to real-world scenarios. It was great! We are going to be able to use the software to solve some long-burdensome issues.

Not only was this a great customer service training, but a life-changing experience for me. I really enjoyed Juana Wooldridge today. I would recommend her not only for customer service training but for motivational speaking. She made me realize some things about myself that I never even knew. A real eye-opener and probably one of the best 7 hours spent of my life.
McKinley was so helpful and knowledgeable. I come from a print background and a lot of the After Effects concepts were new and challenging but she made it fun and accessible. I'm excited to use can't recommend this class enough.

Great class, Chris was very good at helping students with different level of JavaScript experience and I thought he handled the questions and flow from the different level very well. Also very good breaking down how the code works. Code classes can be boring and this was not boring at all.
Chris was exceptional at gauging our experience level on the first day and completely customizing the course for us. He was very good at working "off script". Basically, he would take our questions and examples of work we were currently doing and tailor the class to help us best meet our objectives.
This was a great class! I learned many tips and strategies for better presentation skills. The practice presentations were a good structure and Lena provided great feedback and tips on how to do something better. I would actually like to retake this course to pick up on what I missed. I looked at several courses online to take, and I'm extremely glad I chose this one! Way too much information to cram into 2 days so I'm glad this was a 3-day course. The option to re-take is great as well. Eva was amazing at keeping us interacting and experimenting with each tool as we learned it. I would definitely recommend this course to others, and hopefully can take the advanced course here as well!

This was my second training course with Rich and it was fantastic. I retained a lot from Intermediate Excel due to Rich's teaching style, and this class provided appropriate and applicable refreshers from Intermediate mixed in with a lot of new and very useful concepts and topics. I enjoyed the class a lot, hope to take more courses from Rich soon, and have recommended and will continue to recommend Training Connection courses to my employer and colleagues.

Eva was a fantastic instructor, and I felt a lot more confident in my abilities coming out of the class. It has actually made me interested in possibly taking a more advanced course, but for now, it was a great introduction to InDesign, especially for my current tasks at work.
Learning new computer programs and concepts can be very hard at times. However, the instructor was the best I have had so far in computer training. She spoke clearly, knew what she was talking about, was able to relate it to the real world, took time to help those who needed it, was very prepared, and created examples that were easy to understand and follow. I would definitely take another course from her.

Chris was a great teacher! I took all three Access classes back to back to back and had no problems advancing from beginner to advanced with his guidance. I highly recommend diving in!
Having a small class was very nice and contributed to the success of the class. If you fell behind tying to follow in an exercise, it was easy to say "hold on I'm lost" and Rich was always ready to go over it a second time and make sure we stayed with him. Really a good course.

If there was an option better than strongly agree, I would have chosen that. I've taken many software classes, and I thought this was one of the best. It was taught at the right pace, and the practical exercises helped work through real-life questions that may come up. I'm really looking forward to the other two Training Connection courses I'm signed up for.
Gabriel was awesome! He was very hands-on and patient. He showed us everything a beginner would need to know to work with HTML and building a website from scratch. While it was a ton of information, it was very informative and we touched on what he was teaching us constantly throughout the course. He brought real-world examples to what we were learning. Not only was he a good instructor, but he had magic...literally!! He did a couple of tricks and amazed us all!
Juana was a great instructor. She made the class personal by using real-life examples. I appreciated her teaching style and it made the course more effective.

Bev is extremely knowledgable in InDesign and shares her tips and tricks freely! I appreciate how she can change the pace of the class to meet students' needs (fast or slower). This course was spectacular. I feel like I've learned more than I could anticipate and look forward to applying my new skills to both work and personal video production. After Effects is a comprehensive tool and there is much I still need to learn. I will try to get my employer to let me sign up for the advanced course next.
This was an awesome experience! The facility is welcoming and modern, the uber-friendly staff make you feel right at home, and the instructor, Jeff, is a knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining instructor. I knew very little about After Effects before starting this course other than I really needed to learn it. This course exceeded my expectations greatly, as I found the hands-on, in-class learning environment to be a great way to learn sophisticated software. This class was a huge help to me in discovering how different types of people need to be communicated to in certain situations. McKinley was fantastic! I felt like it was a perfect course for someone who understands Adobe software, especially Premiere, but wants to take on AE & fine-tune their skills. This was such a great course. The pacing was perfect, Instructor made sure at every point to provide relevant examples and check our understanding. Even beginning concepts that I thought I understood took on new meaning and relevance because the instructor gave the background as to why the tagging worked the way it did and how to diagnose common mistakes and avoid them in the future. Jeff did a great job of tailoring course content to my specific needs. He was able to address questions I've had about HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver that I've had for a long time, but for which I could not seem to find clear answers. He helped me to understand the structure of HTML and CSS as a foundation critical to web design in the Dreamweaver environment.
I can't say enough how fantastic McKinley is as an instructor. Her real-world experience coupled with examples that are extremely useful, makes this seem more like personal one-on-one training rather than a class. Beverly is definitely knowledgeable in Photoshop and taught the class to where I was able to understand. Any time I didn't understand something, I felt comfortable enough to speak up and ask questions. I never felt like she was frustrated or annoyed by what I was asking. I would definitely take a refresher class only because I am completely new to Photoshop and there is a lot to learn. I would 100% take the refresher with Bev.
Kristian is a veritable Premier Pro God. There wasn't one question that he wasn't able to answer and I feel like I can competently work on editing film and video. He provided career advice and advised on realistic goals. I will definitely keep in contact with my instructor and refer others who are eager to learn to Training Connection.

When I enrolled for the Dreamweaver class, I hoped for the best and expected the worst since I was relying on student testimonials more than any other criteria. This course actually exceeded anything I could have hoped for and Gabriel is an excellent instructor. The class was well-paced and he was available both before and after class. I would have given the class an A, but his daily magic trick after lunch has earned it an A+. If you're completely new to Dreamweaver and web design, you would be hard-pressed to find a better class.

This is the second class that I've taken with Kristian and I couldn't be happier with it. I've been switching over from Final Cut Pro to Premiere and this really helped me to think in Premiere rather than constantly translate.

Jeff has been an excellent instructor today in Excel Level 1 and I'm looking forward to Levels 2 & 3 with him over the next two days. I'm here to gain more advanced Excel experience for my job and I've already learned far more in the Beginners class than I ever had been shown in the past in work and in business school. It has been a great experience and I plan to express to my company that others would value from coming here for extra training.
The Excel training that Rich provided was the best that I've received in my 30 years in government. Basically, since the advent of Excel. I appreciated his training approach and especially liked that he let us built our own training aids/cheat sheet using the basic and a few advanced concepts of Excel! Great class!

Great instructor - realistic perspective on the software. Incorporated real life stories into the course to show the practical use of the software. Also, I like that there was some theory or Project Management tips included.

This was my second day of taking a class from Steve (PowerPoint Advanced course), and it was just as great as the first class yesterday! I learned SOOO much. This course was excellent and very thorough. I was very pleased with the attention given by the instructor and the materials available. The addition of information materials and the instructor's contact information was phenomenal.
Ron provided a balanced approach to teaching the material by following the manual as well as lecture. He would provide us background information on such topics as image files, audio files, etc. to reinforce each lab. He kept the pacing of the class at the level of feedback from the students, and was always willing to entertain questions and re-tread a few steps if needed. He also continually kept us engaged with questions and hands-on examples.
I retook the class, and it was just as great as the last time! Chris is a great teacher. We covered the same general topics but was able to grasp the concepts better since i was already exposed to them. It was nice to have new classmates ask different questions so we could get a better understanding of real-life examples. Thank you!

Even though it was a lot of information to learn in two days, I was totally absorbed in the content. I can't wait to get back in the office to "show off" some of the things I learned this week and use the features I always dreaded like MAIL MERGE:) Even tracking changes which truly intimidated me when I saw it in other peoples documents will be fun to put to use. This course was incredible. I expected it to go too slow, but it remained entertaining and informative on the topics I would have said I already knew prior. The instructor made people feel welcome and he was excellent at feeling out the room for pace and energy levels.
Level 2 was just as great as Level 1 yesterday. The small class allowed us to spend a great deal of time troubleshooting real examples from our work life. Excellent classes and would highly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their PowerPoint skills.
The class is very well organized with examples and illustrations. Will certainly help beginners like me to gain more insights about VBA. Training with Mckinley was very insightful and helpful! Though I am already familiar with Captivate, she filled in tons of gaps where learning was missed in my previous training class. She pleasant and very personable. The examples presented in class were cutting edge and it will help me better my companies e-Learning training courses. Rob Rocks! He is an Adobe PR and AE guru :) Rob's approach to teaching is effective and holistic. I've edited with Premiere for 6 years and wanted to add After Effects to my tool belt. In one week I have learned advance techniques to help polish my PR skills and now I know how to begin using AE. I can't tell you how many OMG moments I had, now my level of editing will go from amateur hour to animation power. LOL :) I'm really excited to see what I can do, Thank you, Rob!

The class was very helpful in learning how to use Dreamweaver. Being able to use both CSS and starting from the beginning was great. Now I can handle putting something together that has a nice look and feel to it. Knowing how to make changes after something had been created was very good.

I'm very glad that I took this course. After 3 days, I feel like I have a full grasp of the Adobe Illustrator tools and how to best use them. I learned many tips and tricks that I will apply in real-world situations. Kristian was a wonderful instructor. He made the class fun, informative, and went above and beyond with every aspect of the class. I learned more in 3 days than in all of my online courses on sites like lynda.com. There's no substitute for a live teacher where you can ask all of the questions you want and get detailed answers on the spot.
I enrolled in Excel 1,2, and 3 and had the pleasure of having Chris as the instructor for all three. Even though Excel three covered more advanced data, Chris made it fun and easy to follow. I would highly recommend these training classes.

I've taken this course before and decided to take the refresher course before my 6 month period was over and am very glad I did. It allowed me to revisit concepts that I hadn't thought about since first learning them some months ago and think progressively as of how to apply them for future projects versus the regular tools/techniques I found myself falling into. McKinley is an incredible instructor and very thorough in going through the material that the book leaves out.

I took the L1 and L2 courses at a company called New Horizons. This is significantly better. The New Horizons courses cost $590 each with no instruction. We were simply given books and expected to learn on our own. The instructor was very knowledgeable and good at teaching. I would definitely come back for more courses.
I really liked this course and the instructor. The class size was small, so that helped move us along quickly. Chris also tailored the class to help us achieve exactly what we wanted to get out of it. Chris has a lot of real-world experience which always is superior to an "academic" who has no battle wounds. Kristian was highly detailed in his course curriculum drawing from his extensive background knowledge and experience with adobe and he was exactly what I was looking for in an instructor, as I was initially nervous to sign up for a Bootcamp style class. The Adobe Premiere Bootcamp was awesome. A ton of information presented clearly and accessibly. The hands-on approach allowing you to follow step by step is priceless. And the instructor, Kristian, was always patient and happy to slow down or repeat anything as needed. He constantly checked with us to make sure we were following along, asking if we had any questions. He also volunteered his time outside of the classroom hours to discuss any other specifics etc. At the beginning of the week, it seemed like an overwhelming amount to learn, but each step unlocks your understanding and it all starts falling into place. Highly reccommended!

Gabe is one of those rare individuals who is a Master of the subject matter, yet is able to teach the course at a level that can be followed by beginners as well as individuals already familiar with web development and design. Upon completion of this course, everyone, no matter what their level will be able to develop a site.
Gabe was the best instructor imaginable. We covered a great deal of training in 3 days yet Gabe never allowed anyone to fall to behind. The thought of a day-long excel course seems tedious and boring BUT Rich did an amazing job. I was engaged throughout the entire class, I amazed myself! Prior to coming to this class, I wasn't sure if I would be able to walk away and feel confident about designing a web site from scratch and be able to retain all the info that would be discussed in only two days. Rick did an amazing job relaying all this info and breaking it down so that it was easy to understand. I highly recommend taking his class, his teaching approach was more than helpful and successful in the fact that I now feel confident in creating my own code.

I wasn't sure what to expect of the classes. The class set up was top notch. The computers provided were of high quality and set up properly. Our instructor, Kristian was genuinely excited to teach us the concepts and application of After Effects. That helped me to be engaged in the class. The course was very deep and intense at times with a ton of good, usable information. I would definitely recommend and take another class.
McKinley has a great blend of knowledge and down to earthness to be able to relate to every student on their own level. Even explaining basic principals, she packs in so much information that everyone can learn something new. She really knows what she is talking about.

Lena was very knowledgeable and helpful with questions regarding every aspect of customer service. I appreciated Lena's technique for dealing with situations. She had the students to act out situations which helped us overcome some of the obstacles we as Customer Service Reps deal with on a daily basis. Honestly, this class was awesome. I have always wanted to learn more about Illustrator and have been frustrated that my creativity was limited by my understanding of the program. Carol is magical. She made the class fly by. She is smart and passionate and kind and thoughtful. I wish I could take her home with me. Her class was so thoughtful on all subject matters that I want to send my assistant here to take her class and even speak to my HR department about possible group sessions for other colleagues. What she teaches is often over looked with the newer generation of people and she offers value for any growing or tenure professional.
The teacher was thorough, fun, engaging and not only answered questions but gave demonstrations of how to answer them. The step by step instruction paired with smaller projects as time went on seemed more effective than learning tools within the context of larger projects. Great teacher- fun class!
This class provided a new perspective on customer service that I think will be very beneficial to me in the future. I think a lot of people in customer service have heard all the basics, but this training went deeper and was really able to connect the work to me personally. I learned a great deal of information on this 2-day course. Our company relies on Project, but most of us in the company are terribly inefficient with this software. Pat did a great job of teaching ways to be more efficient and use the many benefits of the software.
Jeanette was an enjoyable instructor. She was professional, yet kept levity in the classroom. For me, this helped the time to go by quickly....unlike other training courses from other schools I've taken, where I was a "clock watcher". Jeanette was a breath of fresh air, as an instructor. She presented the material clearly and gave time for feedback in each area.

Eva is a great instructor. For our private classes, she tailors the curriculum to add in our own companies challenges and obstacles, not just simply following a pre-assigned work assignment. We look forward to the Photoshop class and presenting our own examples so we can take away the very most from our training experience.

This course will save me countless hours as I implement the concepts I learned into my existing workflow. The first three days of the Bootcamp reinforced the skills I already had and helped me brush up on those I hadn't quite mastered. The advanced portion of the curriculum dove deeper into automation, GREP, and other workflow options that will make my work faster, easier, and more professional. This is exactly what I hoped to get out of the program, and I'm excited to put what I've learned into practice.

Rich is a great teacher! I actually just re-took level 2 after about four or five months. In between the first class and this retake, I taught a co-worker the basics and we just took this class together. We have so many ideas of how to use Access to make our work faster, easier and have a greater impact with data analysis. Being able to retake the classes is definitely an enormous benefit - this second time around really enforced everything, plus I learned a lot of new functions.
Great class, I was a bit weary before arriving that there wouldn't be too much for me to learn here but was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of useful information. I do believe that I can take what I learned today to help me in the future!

Chris was great! Providing JavaScript examples and comparing them to JQuery techniques to help me understand how JavaScript works, and whether I reference JQuery or not. This approach will help me use JavaScript in the real world.
This class was great! I was able to learn so much about HTML and CSS, particularly with responsive layouts. I would definitely look at taking another class with Chris, particularly with JavaScript for interactive elements.
I felt the instructor and environment were perfect for learning a software package I was not familiar with. With the small class size and engaging style of the instructor, I was able to grasp the processes much more clearly than if I tried to learn on my own.

I really loved how the instructor explained the purpose of tasks and the reasoning behind certain tools existing within the software. It opened up a whole new world of design terminology and concepts to me that I never would have understood if the teacher had just purely taught the software without explaining the real-world applications of features. I learned a ton in this class and can't wait to use my new skills. We covered an incredible amount of training, so I will definitely need to practice to retain the new knowledge!

Gabriel is an excellent teacher and has made me understand Dreamweaver in a way that I never thought was possible. It is extremely hard to find a talented teacher who is easy to follow and has the ability to teach in a way that gets the information across, and Gabriel definitely did that. I found this training class online and signed up due to course description. I was fortunate enough to be put in a one on one class and I am pleased to say that it went beyond what I was expecting. The class went more into what I use the program. I also learned extras related to the program which was pretty cool. The instructor was pretty knowledgeable and awesome!

I took the HTML/CSS with Chris at the Chicago location and couldn't be happier. He explained everything in a way that was fun and easy to understand. Before this class, I was just interested in the front end aspect of programming, but I will now look into taking the PHP and Javascript courses. I really enjoyed this class and take with me a lot of valuable strategies that I will use in my current position and moving forward. The instructor had great hands-on activities and made it a fun experience; as well as, an informative class.
Carol is absolutely fantastic! Very thorough, patient and a wonderful instructor. I honestly can't believe how much I learned in such a short amount of time. I can't wait to take the next level of the PowerPoint course.
The pace of the instruction was perfect and the content was exactly what I needed to cover to build my skillset in Captivate. Jeff was great at taking the book instructions and expanding on them. I also learned a lot of great tips and tricks from Jeff that weren't even in the book. I'm completing the Captivate class with a lot more knowledge and confidence. This is my third class with Training Connection and I would recommend them to anyone needing instruction in computer programs or business information.
First off Rich had a great attitude and was an all-around cool guy. It made the course much more comfortable and a lot more fun. I was very impressed with his take on the whole two-day course. The impromptu discussions we had were enjoyable and informative. I appreciated that he was positive about talking off subject. I'd definitely enjoy taking other courses taught by him. A++
George has what appears to be the greatest understanding of the subject matter that is humanly possible. He is helpful, polite, and always a gentleman. I have grown to admire his teaching style as I have had several classes with him. He is a credit to the Traning Connection's staff.

My instructor was extremely thorough and educated on HTML & CSS and did a great job teaching such a vast subject within three short days. He was helpful when we had questions and made sure we understood the concepts.

I learned a great deal about myself, my communication style. I learned I have to listen to the person I'm communicating with in order to better communicate my response to the questions being asked.
I really enjoyed the hands-on approach to this course as it reinforced my learning and further understanding of the topic. I would come back to the Training Connection for other training courses as I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

I came in with zero knowledge of Dreamweaver and am leaving feeling excited and confident that I can start using these tools that I learned right away not only in the office setting but in my personal endeavors as well. Awesome benefit that it happened to be 1:1- Chris was excellent, went at a great pace that was easy to follow and take lots of notes!
It was fantastic that Chris customized the class to our specific needs and level of expertise. It made the class more informative and enjoyable. He made sure to get a feeling for what folks were expecting out of the class and what they thought they would be using the skills for back at their job and tailored the lessons accordingly. Eva was wonderful. I was incredibly intimidated by Illustrator and by the time I left I felt like I had a great starting point at which to go home and practice my new skills. She made it accessible, fun, and a comfortable environment to ask questions in. I always felt like I had the right amount of attention when I needed it.
I really enjoyed this class. Rich was a great trainer, and I feel ready to use MS Project more efficiently. I would definitely recommend this class to others.
